Combination Embroidery
Combination embroidery brings flat and raised embroidery together in a single design. Using different stitch heights creates contrast, dimension and a more layered appearance than either technique used alone.

- Flat embroidered elements should generally be 1mm or wider.
- Raised 3D elements should generally fall between 3mm and 12mm wide.
- Thin outlines around raised areas may need to be converted to single-needle stitching.
- Artwork should be designed with clear separation between flat and dimensional areas.
