Sublimation allows a patch to carry complex, full-color artwork without the limitations of individual thread or ink colors. It is ideal for gradients, photographic imagery and detailed graphics.

- Best suited to complex multicolor designs and photographic artwork.
- Gradients and subtle color transitions reproduce particularly well.
- For simple one-color or two-color artwork, another patch method may be more economical.
- Keep important design elements approximately 3mm inside the finished edge.
